November - March we offer coliving/cowork & surf.

Directions to the Kiteschool center/The Ocean Spirits Lodge in Burgau, by car:

From Lagos or Sagres drive towards Burgau. In Burgau find the PUB called Pig's Head just outside Burgau towards Luz. Opposite the Pig's Head towards the right is a gate (see the blue snails on the gate). Please drive inside - you will see the The Ocean Spirits Lodge wooden sign. Drive in 150m to find the lodge (the house with yellow blinds on the windows). At the second gate there is another The Ocean Spirits Lodge sign. Google link for directions.

From Faro Airport to the Lodge: 

 • Transfers from Faro Airport are available by a private transfer: €88 up to 3 people, we can book it for you, we will need your flight details (flight number and arrival time)

 • Bus: Eva bus line 57 

 • Train: from Faro to Lagos

From Lisbon Airport to the Lodge:

 • Bus: Rede Expressos from “Oriente station” or “Sete Rios station” to Lagos.

 • Train: from Lisbon “Oriente” train station to Lagos.

From Lagos to the Lodge:

 • From Lagos to Burgau:

 • - by Bus: Yellow Line (Onda Amarela n°4) from Terminal Rodoviário to Montinhos do Burgau. Here is the timetable: http://aonda.pt/onda.php?lid=4

 • Taxi to Burgau will be about 10-15€ the way. Ask the driver to stop in front of the “Pigs Head” Pub.

 • Our gate is blue with blue snails, opposite from the Pig's Head Pub. Please make sure you see “The Ocean Spirits” sign. Enter the driveway and continue 150m to the Lodge (house with yellow blinds)

Yes. We want to ensure your experience is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. That's why we include a delicious breakfast every day, so you can start your day off energized and ready for your kitesurfing lessons. Our breakfast selection offers a variety of fresh options, providing the perfect fuel for a day on the water.

You can join yoga, SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding), hop in the sauna or ice bath. A lot more is possible - see our Relax page for everything.

There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars in Burgau at walking distance. Live music bars are in Sagres and Lagos, both within 20 minutes drive. Ridesharing apps like Uber and Bolt work here.
